Due to longstanding beliefs, Korean ginseng and cordyceps from China are extremely expensive, costing around 2 million baht per kilogram. In the past, I had the opportunity to try both Korean ginseng and cordyceps, and surprisingly, when I compared their effects to consuming longan, I found that the benefits of these herbs were not as impressive as those of our local longan. Despite the local longan being much more affordable, it provided benefits comparable to or even better than Korean ginseng or cordyceps. Research conducted with a renowned global institute (ADSI) found that Thai longan extracts offer comprehensive health benefits as discussed in previous articles: "Korea has ginseng, China has cordyceps, and Thailand should have longan."

I hope to promote our Thai herb, which is longan extract, to make it better known for its health benefits. It is of great importance that P80 will strive to build a reputation for Thailand by promoting the natural extract of longan both domestically and internationally. This also supports Thai longan farmers, helping them increase their income and improve their standard of living.
